Mami: We will visit Kiyomizu Temple and Fushimi Inari Shrine. And we’ll also have free time for shopping!
Nick: Don’t forget to bring comfortable shoes. We’ll walk a lot.
Mike: Good idea. I’ll also bring my camera. I want to take many pictures.
Mami: Me too! I want to take a photo with everyone in front of the Golden Pavilion.

ここに本当に心血を注いで和訳してあげること。
要は、「入り込むこと」が大事なんだ。
目の前の英文
目に映るのは英語だが、ちゃんと頭の中では映像を伴った日本語での世界が想像できないといけない。
この最初の歯車が空回りすると、世界が日本語で始まってくれない。
いつまでも英語混じりの中途半端な「活字の世界」を上滑りすることになるから。
